Extra
Towels! For cabins that
provide bath towels, an exchange
is done once
if you are staying four or more
days, otherwise there is a small
fee to receive a
new sets of towels. Towels provided
are for in-cabin use only. You will
need to
bring your own towels to use in
the pool house, beach, or for canoeing.
Toiletries: Mohican
Adventures does not provide shampoo,
conditioner, soap,
or other toiletries in any of our
cabins or shower house. We do sell
most of
these items in travel size packs
in our camp store.
Sunscreen & Bug Spray.
While we usually don't have a huge
problem with insect bites, it's
always a good thing to bring along
for primitive camping deep in the
woods or on a canoe trip down the
river. Bug spray & sunscreen
are sold in our camp store.
Fishing Poles:
If you are looking to fish in one
of our ponds or in one of the
rivers close by, you may want your
own fishing pole. We do have some
for sale
in the camp store, but we do not
rent them out. Fishing on Mohican
Adventures
property is based on catch and release,
and does not require a fishing license.
Fishing licenses are required on
any of the Ohio State lakes and
rivers.
Games and Cards:
These are a good back up for those
rainy weather days.
Also don't forget to bring DVD's
for those cabins with
players. DVDs are available to be signed out in the campground office.
Extra change of clothes.
Packing an outfit for each day probably
will not be enough
if you are planning on doing all
that we have to offer. Clothes may
get wet on the river trips or dirty
during hiking or biking adventures
so it's always smart to think ahead
and pack a few extra outfits. A
laundry mat is close for emergency
cleanings.
Shoes: We don't
mean for you to bring a whole closet
full of shoes, but having
a couple of different pairs along
is a smart idea. If you plan to
go hiking we
recommend bringing comfortable tennis
shoes or boots. While most people
prefer wearing sandals on the river,
we recommend wearing shoes that
tie and ones
that you don't mind getting wet.
There are also plenty of tourist
shops in the area,
so a pair of shoes good for walking
a whole day is in preference.
Don't forget we have an
indoor pool & hot tub.
Bring your swimsuits & swim
towels! |
