In ideal conditions, the Mohican river is a class 1 river, which is as easy as it gets – however, when water levels rise conditions can become dangerous to new paddlers and children. Please check our daily river conditions chart before starting your trip.

Our river trips are very popular on weekends and holidays. If you are planning to tube during this time, be sure to expect a crowd. Please be respectful of other boaters on the river. We always recommend floating during the week for a more peaceful family trip.

This trip, on average, takes 2-3 hours on a canoe/kayak, 3-5 hours on a raft, and 6-7 hours on a tube. Please be prepared by packing lots of water, snacks, & sunscreen. Times that we give are estimates, and can change depending on water level.

NO styrofoam coolers or glass permitted on the river. Please bring a garbage bag with you to place trash in during your trip. Help keep our river beautiful!

You may take as long on the trip as you would like, as long as you are in by the last pick-up time. Last pick up time in September is 6pm, and 5pm in October. There will be a $30 per boat late fee for any pick ups past the last pick up time.
