Canoeing on the Mohican River

A classic way to enjoy the scenic views!

Come canoe with us on any of our two river trips! We provide everything you need: life jackets, paddles, and transportation to & from the river. On average, the 3-Mile Trip takes about 1-2 hours, and the 7-Mile Trip takes 2-3 hours.

We cannot guarantee availability all day. We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis and do sell out of raft & tube rentals on weekends. We recommend coming early for these trips. We do not take reservations for any river trip or fun center activity.

Good to Know

In ideal conditions, the Mohican river is a class 1 river, which is as easy as it gets – however, when water levels rise conditions can become dangerous to new paddlers and children. Please check our daily river conditions chart before starting your trip.
Our river trips are very popular on weekends and holidays. If you are planning to be on the river during this time, be sure to expect a crowd. Please be respectful of other boaters on the river. We always recommend floating during the week for a more peaceful family trip.
Our trips, on average, take 1-3 hours. Please be prepared by packing lots of water, snacks, & sunscreen. Times that we give are estimates, and can change depending on water level.
You may take as long as you wish on the river, as long as you return by the last due in time. Last due in time is 7pm Memorial Day Weekend – Labor Day, 6pm in May/September, and 5pm in April/October. There is a late fee for boats who are not in on time.
NO styrofoam coolers or glass permitted on the river. Please bring a garbage bag with you to place trash in during your trip. Help keep our river beautiful!
